Just want to point out that we don't do refills in Italy 😁

An espresso is made at the moment and is served in a small small cup, a "tazzina". Two or three sips and it's gone! If you want another they'll bring it in another tazzina, and you'll have to pay for it again!

Thankyou! I intended that to be what happened, but if I didn’t make it clear I will revise it ☺️

Does the “tazzina” cup suggest it is only a taste, or a sip?

While you’re here, I wonder if you know, does The Vatican have any buildings that are purely functional, offices perhaps, where priests and the like can do the mundane work of study, planning and the like? I want the priest to leave a building where he has been busy, but it’s not a church or a place of worship. Maybe he’s been attending a seminary or doing some research.

If you have any idea, I’d very grateful ❤️ but if not, no worries.

I found this, near S Peter

Vatican City is a State, it's full of administrative buildings, it has ambassyes too!

And a tazzina is the standard serving cup, (25 ml, less than an ounce, I looked it up), not a taste before the big mug!

Thankyou so much!!

Getting to that snaggy moment ... and between columns to boot! I like this a lot ... Oh, something I wanted to tell you: I'm a little bothered by characters names Taes and Treats ... it's a bit too close (not that they can be confused, but still).

Sir Timothy Taes was named after a paid subscriber, one of the things I was offering at the time. Treats is such a nice name but he is not a nice guy, and I liked the contrast.

But you’re right. Too similar!
